1、压盖与波纹管的组装
压盖与波纹管用6-12个螺栓联接，之间有垫片防止介质泄漏。
2、硬环定位
首先将固定圈固定在轴套定位沉孔上，然后将压盖、波纹管组件放入，使其与固定圈靠上，放上硬环、楔形圈及旋转座环，确定旋转座环的位置后，稍紧旋环紧定螺钉，旋环与硬环用螺钉联接，取出固定环、压盖、波纹管组件。
3、端面找正
旋转座环和硬环连接在轴套上时，必须保持端面的垂直度。一般保证端面跳动小于0.05mm，在装配平台上，拧紧旋转座环上的紧 定螺钉后，用百分表一边找正，一边拧紧连接旋转座环与硬环间的螺钉，来保证端面的垂直度。
4、压缩量的调整
集装式波纹管机械密封的压缩量体现在定位块的厚度。但有些特殊用户要不同的压缩量，可按下列方法调整:
（1）45、55系列密封，在确定硬环位置时将压盖上的挡水铝板放在定位块（定位叉）配合的轴套的凹槽的外沿，把旋转座环与硬环贴紧在石墨环上，固定在轴套上。放入定位板后压缩量为设计的压缩量，为叉板的厚度。改变压缩量可将硬环在轴套上前后移动，移动量为改变的压缩量。
（2）60、70、85、90、120系列的密封，硬环的位置是将压盖挡水铝板贴在固定圈上时的位置，其压缩量为定位块的厚度。若改变压缩量可将硬环在轴套上前后移动，移动量为压缩量的改变量，前移压缩量增大，后移压缩量减小。
