丁腈橡胶的品种牌号有320多个。依其结合丙烯腈量、聚合温度、门尼粘度、物理形态、加工使用性能和防老剂类型等进行划分。
一、按结合丙烯腈量分类
商品丁腈橡胶的结合丙烯胶量在18－50％范围内，主要商品牌号为28－40％，并依次分为5个品级。
1）结合丙烯腈量为42％的极高腈品级；
2）结合丙烯腈量为36－41％的高腈品级；
3）结合丙烯腈量为31－35％的中高腈品级；
4）结合丙烯腈量为25－30％的中腈品级；
5）结合丙烯腈量为24％以下的低腈品级；
二、按聚合温度分类
有高温聚合丁腈橡胶和低温聚合丁腈橡胶两种，现主要采用低温聚合法生产。
三、按门尼粘度分类
商品丁腈橡胶的门尼粘度（ML100℃1＋4）为20－140，主要品种牌号的为25－100。
四、按物理类型分类
有块状、片状、粉末状或颗粒状和液态等几种形态的丁腈橡胶。
五、按加工、使用性能分类
丁腈橡胶有通用型、易加工性、易溶解型、部分交联型、对金属不腐蚀型、助剂型、羧基丁腈胶、聚氯乙烯改性型、与树脂并用型易积聚稳丁腈橡胶等品种。
六、按防老剂分类
有污染型、微污染型和非污染型丁腈橡胶。
