故障现象：
高温泵在启动之前都要进行预热，预热确保机泵转子、壳体等部件受热均匀升温，保护机泵。在泵预热过程中，由于密封环各点的温度不同，其热膨胀值不同，就会产生热变形。尤其在高温热油泵中，如果辅助系统选择不当，密封腔无法散热，会造成密封腔温度过高，使密封环端面产生热变形，密封泄漏。
原因分析：
预热速度过快会造成密封端面变形，导致密封泄漏，这样的变形往往密封泄漏比较严重。
解决办法：
1、对于热油泵预热的要求：每小时升温50℃左右，如果预热速度过快，会造成机械密封端面变形，所以一定控制好泵的预热时间。特殊情况下可以通过向泵体加蒸汽、热水等措施，加快预热速度。启动泵之前冷却水要全部打通，预热时每隔30~40min应盘车180°，以免泵轴上下受热不均而弯曲。
2、预热阀不能开的过大，防止泵的倒转。
3、轴承箱、泵座冷却水要打开，以保护轴承和密封。
